Description :

Client is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with .NET / SQL background

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze intricate business requirements and translate them into testable components.
  • Possess a profound understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly Agile methodologies.
  • Technical Skills :

Proficiency in ASP.NET / .NET / C# and familiarity with Microsoft-based products and technologies.

  • Competency in MS SQL Server, including the ability to write complex SQL queries, comprehend stored procedures, and ensure data consistency.
  • Knowledge of DB2 is preferred.
  • Familiarity with LoadRunner for automation testing (level of expertise required).
  • Experience with tools such as Postman, Selenium, Cucumber, and SoapUI.
  • QA Concepts :

    • Design and develop comprehensive test plans to ensure coverage of all requirements.

  • Execute both manual and automated tests, meticulously identifying and documenting defects.
  • Competence in black-box testing methodologies.
  • Ability to understand process flows and define testing steps accordingly.
  • Communication and Reporting :

    • Regularly report testing progress, issues, and quality metrics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Utilize JIRA or similar defect tracking tools to report issues and monitor their resolution.
  • Documentation and Reporting :

    • Organize and document detailed test scenarios, using tools such as Excel or equivalents.

  • Ensure thorough testing of every aspect of a product or service.
  • Collaboration :

    • Emphasize open communication and collaboration within the team.

  • Tools :

    • Familiarity with Confluence and SharePoint.
