USPTO Licensed Patent Agent

A company is looking for a Patent Agent to manage its patent portfolio and support internal patent prosecution workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the patent program end-to-end, including strategy recommendations and process development

Draft, prepare, file, and prosecute U.S. patent applications, and manage outside counsel for filings

Develop patent training for engineers and product managers, and monitor competitor IP trends

Required Qualifications

USPTO-registered Patent Agent

Degree in engineering, life sciences, computer science, physics, or mathematics

3+ years of patent prosecution experience, including drafting applications and responding to Office Actions

Experience managing outside counsel and conducting patentability analyses

Strong analytical and research skills
