Central Plant Engineer

Reporting to the Director of Engineering this positionserves as a lead by performing maintenance service or repairs in one or moreskill areas, including operation and maintenance of steam boilers, aircompressors, medical gas systems, medical vacuum systems, generators, and allancillary equipment .

Ability to meet all job & physical requirements as outlined in job description or as agreed through a work place accommodation.

QUALIFICATIONS :

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

5 years of related work experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES :

Current California driver’s license required. To drive a company vehicle must have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years and have a clean driving record per RCH insurance carrier.

500 Horsepower City of Los Angeles Steam License preferred at hire; required within one year of employment if employee has 2 years of prior experience in power plant / boiler room or required within three years with no power plant / boiler room experience.
