Our client is seeking an experienced Statistical Assistant to support their Research & Innovation and Technology Divisions. The ideal candidate will bring strong data governance expertise, advanced analytical skills, and experience with virtual or crypto currency environments. Work cross-functionally with various groups to analyze and validate financial call report and capitalization data Maintain existing data warehousing workflows, including checking data quality and preparing data quality reports for the virtual currency transaction monitoring program Assist the Data Steward for the Research & Innovation Division with data governance processes such as data quality assessments, data cataloguing, and other governance activities Coordinate with data team stakeholders, collect work items, and prepare reporting and presentations as needed Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the Research & Innovation and Technology Divisions to advance assigned projects Conduct data analysis on datasets and related processes, prepare data definitions, document usage, and develop business requirements Compile and compute data according to statistical formulas for use in statistical studies; may perform model calculations and prepare charts and graphs Work with complex datasets to identify issues, recommend solutions, and support procedures using analytical and statistical approaches Use technical expertise to automate manual processes and reporting Collaborate with business users and analysts to develop analytical strategies for project implementation Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Candidate Qualifications Strong data analysis skills Data visualization abilities High-level competency in Excel, including advanced formulas and macros Expertise in SQL, Python, SnowSQL, and relational database management systems Experience using GitHub for version control and project management Experience with data quality and data cataloguing platforms such as Informatica, Collibra, or Alation Experience with cloud technologies such as Salesforce and Snowflake Ability to develop metrics, reports, and presentations Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications Highly motivated, able to work independently and within cross-functional teams Strong multitasking skills with the ability to maintain high-quality work across multiple projects Adaptable and communicative, comfortable working in dynamic environments and engaging with technical stakeholders 5 years of experience in data governance 5 years of experience compiling and computing data using statistical formulas for data analytic and statistical studies 1 year of experience with virtual currency or crypto currency Bachelor’s Degree Benefits : Health Insurance Sick Time 401k Location : One State Street, New York, NY 10004 Duration : approximately 2 years Apply by deadline : 12 / 15 / 2025 Shift Days / Times : M-F 37.5 hrs per week, Pay Range : $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications) By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from HEPCO, Inc and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
