About the Role :

As a Software Engineer Associate on the VAS Product Development team, you will play a crucial role in building software solutions that leverage data to deliver innovative value-added services in the payments space. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact applications in a fast-paced environment. You'll be involved in all aspects of software development, from designing new solutions to refactoring existing functionality, always focusing on improving efficiency and delivering value to customers.

Essential Functions :

• Design and build distributed applications using emerging technologies, focusing on innovative value-added services in the payments industry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Managers, Architects, Analysts, Software Engineers) to develop data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
• Lead end-to-end development efforts to deliver high-quality solutions on time, aligning with architectural vision and standards.
• Work closely with senior technical staff and Project Managers to identify and manage project risks, track progress, and ensure successful delivery.
• Present technical solutions and features in business terms, ensuring effective communication of progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Contribute to the evolution of the software architecture and drive improvements in code performance, maintainability, and scalability.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY : The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $84,600 USD to $119, 650 per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA / HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
