Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Certified School Nurse (CSN) position is available for the current school year, extending through the end of the school year in June 2026. This role is integral to a K-12 school in Joliet, IL, serving as the sole Certified School Nurse in the district while benefiting from the support of multiple Registered Nurses (RNs).
Key qualifications for this position include :
- Professional Educators License in Illinois with a Certified School Nurse endorsement is mandatory
- Proven experience as a Certified School Nurse or Registered Nurse in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge in school health policies, student health management, and emergency care procedures
