[job_card.job_description]Provide comprehensive, urgent care in an outpatient setting. Conduct assessments, diagnostic tests, and treatments for a variety of urgent care conditions. Manage a caseload of approximately 20 patients per shift. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document all patient interactions and clinical information accurately using the Epic EMR system. Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements. Licensure : Active, unrestricted North Carolina (NC) license Certification : Experience : Other Requirements : Work Hours : Scheduled clinical hours only (Monday to Friday, no weekends or on-call shifts) Salary Range : $100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience Health insurance and other benefits Placement Types : Locum Tenens (temporary), Contract , and Permanent placements. Key Allied Health Specialties Staffed : Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) Physician Assistants (PAs) Nurse Practitioners (NPs) Other Allied Healthcare Professionals (specific roles often include Imaging, Therapy, and specialized technicians). Client Settings : NorTek places Allied Health staff in diverse environments, including Hospitals, Medical Groups, Outpatient Clinics, Urgent Care Centers, and Government Facilities (VA and DoD). National Reach : Placing Allied Health professionals in facilities across the entire U.S. Rapid Deployment : Efficiently sourcing and deploying professionals to cover urgent short-term and long-term needs. Compliance and Credentialing : A dedicated team ensures all placed personnel are thoroughly screened, compliant, and credentialed according to the highest industry and facility standards. Position Overview
NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our urgent care team in Henderson, NC. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in urgent care or similar clinical settings and be capable of handling a high volume of patients.
Key Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
o Board Certification in the relevant specialty (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
o BLS Certification (required)
o DOT, PALS / ACLS certifications preferred but not mandatory
o 2+ years of clinical experience in an urgent care or similar outpatient setting
o Strong diagnostic and treatment skills in an urgent care environment
o Ability to manage a high patient volume (approx. 20 patients per shift)
o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
o Fellowship required in the specialty area
