IT Cloud Security Engineer

A company is looking for an IT & Cloud Security Engineer to join their cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities

Support SOC 2 Type II compliance and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH)

Design and maintain secure cloud architectures while implementing security controls across the development lifecycle

Monitor security events, respond to threats, and lead incident response activities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)

3-7 years of experience in IT security, with at least 2 years focused on cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Experience ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations

Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners

Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, and Azure Security certifications
