Job Description

Minimum 2 years of experience required. COVID Vaccine - Required. Provide care for patients utilizing fetal and maternal monitoring equipment. Manage the patient's pain including epidural and patient-controlled analgesia administration. Assist physician during delivery, treatment, examination, and surgical procedures. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Provide patient and family education on labor, pain, and newborn care.

Unit Description

The most unique thing about McKenzie-Willamette is that labor, delivery, and post partum are all done in the same room. There are 15 spacious, private birthing suites, each designed around the needs of our patients and their loved ones. A daybed or sleep chair provides a comfortable spot for a friend or family member to stay the night. Each suite has a refrigerator and an entertainment center equipped to play DVDs or CDs. The tiled private bathroom is complete with a deep Jacuzzi tub, for relaxation before and after labor. In each room large windows provide restful views of the surrounding hills.
