Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SQL Server Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL Server databases and ensuring their performance, availability, and security. You will work closely with data analysts, software developers, and business stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and other techniques.
Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for database security and backup.
Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases with business applications.
Develop ETL processes to import / export data between systems.
Create and maintain documentation related to database architecture and processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a SQL Server Developer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server tools (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS).

Experience with performance tuning and optimization.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with cloud-based SQL services (e.g., Azure SQL Database).

Knowledge of other database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
