We are seeking an Orderly to join our Operating Room team!

Orderly at Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital Arlington :

  • Under the direct supervision of the OR RN Coordinator and OR Director, the Orderly is responsible for support services as well as specific elements of direct patient care given in the Surgical Department.
  • The Orderly assists with surgery flow (turnover of surgical suites), assures that adequate supplies are available as needed, cleaning, trash disposal, and any other duties assigned by his / her Coordinator or the Director of Surgical Services.

    Required Skills :

  • Education / License : High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Required Experience : Excellent communication skills. Good organization habits. Ability to adapt to change quickly, knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient desired. Basic knowledge of Continuous Quality Improvement ideology. Experience in the Operating Room preferred.
