Structural Design Engineer - Akron, OH - JOB 25-01593 Pay Range : $60K - $110K Permanent Position with Benefits A company located near Akron, OH is seeking to hire a Structural Engineer with design capabilities. JOB REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's Degree, Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis) Light experience with structural design software for buildings Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel AutoCAD experience Essential Functions : Performs engineering design and calculations for structural and miscellaneous steel systems of various buildings and structures. Evaluates designs for overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety. Adhere to applicable Quality Control procedures. Review fabrication drawings for conformance to design specifications. Provide accurate project status reporting to facilitate accurate customer reporting. Assist in the development of engineering tools and processes. Review requests for engineering services to determine that adequate information is provided to complete the service. Generate required engineering reports and drawing redlines. Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen. Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
