Field Support Engineer
Job Title : Field Support Engineer
Location : Sunnyvale CA (Onsite)
Field support Engineer will be responsible for on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of digital display systems, Digital Media Players (DMPs), and associated network infrastructure deployed across airport terminals. The role ensures continuous uptime and reliability of passenger-facing and operational display systems powered by the VisionEDGE platform.
Key Responsibilities :
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, IT, or related technical field.
5+ years of experience in field maintenance or break-fix support for digital signage, Audio Visual systems, or IT network hardware.
Strong understanding of LED, LCD displays, TV, Platform Door Header Dynamic Display Screens / WOW Barrier Wall Ribbon, and other similar hardware, DMPs (Digital Media Players), routers, switches, and cabling infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware, network connectivity, and power issues.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently across multiple terminals with minimal supervision.
Must meet airport security clearance and safety compliance requirements.
On-site role across airport terminals; may require travel between terminals and occasional after-hours or weekend support based on operational needs. Physical activity may include climbing ladders, handling equipment, and working in restricted areas.
Mandatory Skills : Telecom Unified Communications SIP.
Experience : 3-5 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $140,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
