Responsibilities include :

• Calculating deductions, overtime, vacation, workers compensation, etc.
• Maintaining related payroll records, filing appropriate reports, processing involuntary deductions, and preparing special reports for leadership.
• Auditing pay records and reconciling all tax and unemployment liability accounts to the general ledger and investigating variances.
• Maintaining payroll systems and assisting with preparation of quarterly payroll tax reporting, research, and resolving payroll / tax reporting issues.
• Reviewing employee wage and tax setup for accuracy in HRIS systems.
• Verifying compliance with federal and state payroll requirements.
• Assisting with audits of internal records, workers compensation, tax filing, and related documentation.
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
