Job Summary:
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and/or outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
- Will This Position Require Forklift: Yes
- Experience: 2 Years
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and/or outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Posts incoming shipments in ERP program (SAP) and job excel sheet.
- Distributes materials to the appropriate area(s) in shop.
- Prepares outgoing shipments: packaging materials, preparing BOLs, contacting carriers and making sure materials are picked up by carriers.
- Keeps all incoming and outgoing areas neatly organized.
- Keeps S&R station clean and organized - keeps track of supplies and requests replenishment as needed so we are always ready to prepare shipments.
- Makes sure material inventory is always neat and orderly and incoming items for inventory are properly categorized and stored.
- Keeps traffic areas inside and outside of S&R area cleaned and organized.
- Industrial shop environment, forklift will be used and proper PPE is required at all times while in the shop areas.
