ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril's Core Automation is seeking a Senior Production Automation Engineer to join our team. The Core Automation team is responsible for the design, integration, and deployment of automated manufacturing systems across Anduril factories. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to help define what production automation looks like for Anduril at a national scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design, develop, and manage controls systems for manufacturing - this includes initial factory ideation, machine commissioning, proof of rate capability, and eventual hand-off to sustainment teams
• Architect, write, and debug PLC code with an emphasis on generating code that is organized, structured, documented, maintainable, and reusable for high-volume manufacturing applications
• Generate and enforce internal standards for control systems architectures, regulatory compliance, and safety buyoffs
• Integrate internal and external FactoryOS software into automation equipment and production lines
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures, ensuring rapid resolution and long-term reliability
• Install, configure, and tune servo drives / VFDs
• Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, reduce downtime, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

US Salary Range

$146,000-$194,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and / or training, critical skills, and / or business considerations.
