Analytical Chemist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and scientifically driven Analytical Scientist to support Extractables and Leachables (E&L) testing in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role involves operating advanced analytical instrumentation (GC-MS LC-MS ICP-MS) performing rigorous data analysis and authoring high-quality technical documentation to support regulatory compliance and client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform E&L testing using GC-MS LC-MS and / or ICP-MS in a GMP-compliant laboratory.
• Analyze complex data sets to assess product safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Author clear scientifically sound technical reports protocols and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
• Review and verify test results for accuracy and consistency with regulatory standards; escalate anomalies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with cGxP and GDP standards.
• Calibrate verify and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and methods.
• Support method development and validation including protocol drafting and documentation.
• Participate in training activities both as a learner and mentor with a focus on documentation best practices.
• Maintain lab supplies enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to support project goals and timelines.

The position is full-time first shift Monday-Friday from 8am-4 : 30pm . Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and / or weekend work and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer New York  are encouraged to apply.
