Lymphedema Therapist - Physical or Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

Job Summary

We're seeking a caring and Occupational or Physical Therapist who is experienced in the treatment of Lymphedema or is interested in becoming certified and working with this unique population! This position will be located in our Outpatient clinic in Norwich, CT.

Lymphedema specific responsibilities include :

• Evaluate patients with lymphedema and create Plan of Care
• Demonstrate competence in manual lymph drainage, multi-layer bandaging, compression garment selection and application
• Provide patient and / or caregiver training for home program including MLD, bandaging as needed, application of compression garments, and skin care
• Provide appropriate and safe exercise plan for patient with lymphedema, with modifications to functional ability
