We need a results-oriented Test Engineer to support the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Enterprise Center's Performance and Testing Team at Fort Meade, MD.

This isn't just any job. The NC3 Enterprise Center is the Department of Defense's lead organization for enterprise-level systems engineering and architecture for NC3. Our customer, led by the Commander, U.S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), applies subject matter expertise and best practices to translate mission and operational requirements into solutions and operational capabilities.

In this role, you will test and evaluate critical high assurance communication systems. These test and evaluation activities ensure national leaders have assured communications in both peacetime and wartime. The position encompasses responsibilities including test tool configuration and operation, developmental and operational test planning, test execution, test data analysis and report writing. You will work closely with our customers to develop and facilitate execution of detailed test plans.

Test Engineer Primary Responsibilities :

• Working as part of a test team to accomplish technical assessments of high-assurance systems.
• Developing and executing test plans in collaboration with the government customer.
• Executing test events in both laboratory and operational environments.
• Utilizing a suite of hardware and software test and data analysis tools.
• Performing analysis of test data and documenting test results and recommendations.

Test Engineer Basic Qualifications :

Test and Evaluation of networked hardware and / or software.

Preferred Qualifications

Sniffing and packet capture using Wireshark.

Pay Range :

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
