A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer. As a Product Engineer for embedded systems, you will help shape the electronic heart of our next-generation control panel for step-voltage regulators ( Your day will swing between brainstorming circuit and firmware improvements, reviewing C/C++ code on a Linux-based platform, checking schematic layouts in a PLM environment, and validating prototype performance with both in-house and vendor teams. You’ll see ideas move quickly from whiteboard to bench, ensuring the final product is robust, manufacturable, and ready for the field.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design, prototype, and debug embedded hardware/firmware systems interfacing with power-system sensors, actuators, and communication networks
- Develop embedded software in C/C++ for microcontrollers and processors (Linux/RTOS on ARM, Bare Metal on TI-MSP430) for signal processing and system control
- Create and execute board-, system-, and environmental-level test plans to ensure compliance with functional, safety, and EMC standards
- Analyze lab data, prepare technical reports, contribute to design reviews, and ensure traceability to and internal performance metrics
- Collaborate with external design partners and internal teams to review schematics, layouts, and code; manage issues and drive corrective actions
- Serve as the primary engineering contact for customer interactions and technical teams
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 2 or more years of engineering experience required, preferably on electronic product development. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
- Foundational knowledge of microcontroller and microprocessor architectures, peripheral buses, memory maps and communication networks; Understanding of analog/digital interfacing concepts: ADCs, DACs, signal conditioning, and basic power-supply topologies; Familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, in-circuit debuggers, and automated test equipment
- Hands-on experience with C/C++ development in a real-time or Linux environment, including use of version-control and build systems; Experience and knowledge of step-voltage regulators is preferred
- Strong knowledge of product-lifecycle management (requirements capture, change control, BOM management) and project-management skills
- Strong analytical thinking, clear technical writing, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multi-site teams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
