Makes decisions within guidelines established by the supervisor. Directs and assists Clerks Grade I and Junior Clerks to carry out and complete the work assigned. Key Accountabilities * Performs work assigned by supervisor. * Makes computations; obtains, compiles, prepares, and posts information and data to schedules, reports, forms and company records. * Performs clerical and office work in connection with payroll, taxes, billing and collecting of customer accounts, the purchase, sale, recording and accounting for assets, property, materials, supplies and services purchased or sold by the company. Communicates with customers and other employees to satisfy customer requests and inquiries. * Operates office and business machines and equipment. * Assists, advises, and directs Senior Clerks-Grade I and Junior Clerks. (Informs other work areas and other personnel of situations which affect their work. _ Knowledge/Skills_ Able to perform such activities as walking, stooping, lifting, and operating office machines.
