DevOps Engineer

Genesis10 is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a 9 month contract position with a banking company located in Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid position.

Summary:
Automates software delivery processes and maintains CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Build infrastructure as code, manage deployments, monitor systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a collaborative software development environment.
• Strong understanding of revision control systems and their role in development, build, testing, and deployment processes; hands-on experience with Git is required.
• In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle and iterative/agile development methodologies.
• Experience with source control, build automation, debugging, deployment, log management, monitoring/alerting, scripting, and software testing.
• Experience with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Jfrog Artifactory, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
