Description
Performs a wide variety of activities related to the receipt, inspection, processing, storage and distribution of automotive radio / navigation in accordance with Mobis Parts America policies and procedures. Performs other related work as required.
Key Responsibilities
Key Performance Indicators
Accurately receive, inspect, process, store and ship automotive radio / navigation meeting company standards of safety, security and efficiency. Meet or exceed all minimum PDC productivity and quality objectives while displaying professional conduct at all times.
Relocate merchandise to staging and / or storage areas as directed
Inspect freight for accuracy and / or damage
Relocate merchandise to appropriate storage area
Perform visual inspection per MRC guideline
Prepare customer orders for shipment
Transport orders to shipping docks or other areas as directed
Report any count or other out of line conditions to the supervisor or designee
Maintain neat, clean, orderly, safe and secure work and storage areas
Perform general housekeeping in assigned areas
Performs special project work as required at the direction of management

8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm No travel is required for this role.
Major Challenges and Key Decisions
Warehouse operational methods and procedures pertaining to receiving, processing, storing and distribution of a variety of merchandise. Proper physical lifting techniques and use of warehouse equipment Ability to communicate and use basic math skills Standard office machines and equipment, including computer terminals Work with minimum supervision Participate in the receipt, storage and distribution operations of the warehouse facility Perform moderately heavy manual tasks Effectively and efficiently operate a computer terminal Understand and carry out oral and written directions Apply policies and procedures related to the assigned duties and responsibilities of the position Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships Must work a reasonable amount of overtime as required (including all mandatory overtime) Ability to work 5 days a week with minimal absenteeism Work in a fast paced warehouse environment Sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time Limited judgment procedures exist for all function and processes
