Bear Mountain Healthcare at Reading, a skilled nursing facility, is currently seeking RN or LPN for Days, Evening and Night shifts. Part time / Full time & Per-Diem available.

Nurses care for people who are sick, injured, convalescent, cognitively impaired, or disabled. Under general supervision, they deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with established philosophy. Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Nurses effectively interact with patient and significant others, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. The nature of the direction and supervision required for this position varies job setting. Nurses care for the physical and psycho social needs of older adults. They focus on maximizing patients’ functional abilities, as well as promoting, maintaining, and restoring their physical and mental health.

General Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Federal, State, and required credentials current and on file

Licensure as RN or LPN in states included in service area.

1 years of current experience a long term care preferred

CPR certification required

Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills and must be able to assume a flexible work schedule.
