- Location : Domino’s World Resource Center; 30 Frank Lloyd Wright Dr, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 (Remote Friday)
- Shift : Fulltime; Salary
- Salary : Pay up to $75,000 based on experience and qualifications, plus bonus.
This role is responsible for supporting, coordinating, and providing clear guidance to Supply Chain Centers (SCCs) to ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and standards. Key responsibilities include preparation of permit applications, tracking completion of required compliance activities, performing routine inspections, providing compliance trainings, completing required regulatory reporting, tracking key performance indicator data and providing guidance to SCC team members related to environmental compliance matters. This role operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where accuracy, consistency, and timely execution are critical to multi-site compliance management. Success in this role requires strong project management skills and the ability to efficiently organize, analyze, and manage large volumes of site-specific regulatory and operational data across multiple locations.
Main Responsibilities :
Support Environmental Compliance Efforts for Supply Chain Activities
Interpret and apply environmental regulations to company operationsProvide information and explanation of environmental regulations, requirements, and policies to internal stakeholdersServe as a liaison for regulatory agencies on matters related to environmental complianceMaintain, update, and prepare local, state, and federal environmental permit applicationsMaintain knowledge of regulatory reporting submittal status for SCCs in North America and ensure timely submittals of all required documentationConduct internal inspections and auditsPartner with internal and external stakeholders on compliance efforts related toStorm Water
WastewaterAir quality, including emission calculations and refrigerant managementEmergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Laws (Section 302 & Tier II Reporting)Chemical management regulations (SPCC and state specific plans)Non-hazardous and hazardous waste managementSolicit, retain, and manage contractors to assist with compliance efforts as neededWork with cross-functional teams to identify environmental regulatory requirements for project, expansions, and new constructionWork both independently and with cross-functional teams to develop and implement action plans and associated activities ensuring complianceSupport root cause investigations helping to drive closure of identified corrective actionsSupport Environmental Compliance Manager with tasks and activitiesDrive environmental compliance through KPI tracking, training, education, and SOP development
Track environmental compliance KPI data and report out to internal stakeholdersWork with internal partners to ensure regulatory training deadlines are metDevelop office and field personnel regulatory training materialsSupport onboarding of new Supply Chain team membersFacilitate the development, introduction, and tracking of required work for SCCs located across North AmericaTracking regulatory changes and applicable legislation
Proactively track regulatory changes and advise internal teams on upcoming changes that could affect Supply Chain operations, recordkeeping and / or reporting requirementsCreate and implement compliance roadmaps, policies and SOPs ensuring compliance ahead of emerging regulationsBuild a network of internal and external contacts to stay abreast of changesQualifications
3-5 years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing, operations, or engineering rolesFood manufacturing and distribution experience, preferredExperience within a multi-site and multi-state companyDemonstrated problem solving skills with a solution-focused mindsetDemonstrated project management skills, including the ability to organize and analyze large data setsDemonstrated ability to efficiently manage, organize, and retain large volumes of regulatory and operational data across multiple locationsAbility to influence and drive resultsStrong, effective communicator – facilitation, written and verbalAdditional Information
