Document financial transactions by entering account information. Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Secure financial information by completing database backups. Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field, specifically within the construction industry. Proficient in accounting software, particularly Deltek. Strong understanding of financial reporting and year-end audit procedures. Excellent mathematical skills. Understanding of data privacy standards. Solid communication skills, both written and verbal. Deep understanding of business principles and practices. Superior attention to detail.
