Workforce Development Department (WDD) is recruiting for an
Office Assistant Public Service Employee (PSE)* who is responsible for providing general information to the public via phone or in person; answering questions regarding specific departmental procedures and practices; processing a variety of documents; maintaining files; scheduling appointments and meetings; preparing letters, reports, invoices, and other documents; and performing data entry.
*PSE = Public Service Employee: PSE is an extra-help unclassified appointment. This is an
extra-help, non-regular position classified as Public Service Employee. This temporary position will be employed for approximately 6-12 months and is a full-time (40 hours per week) position. Successful candidates shall be considered at-will throughout the term of their employment, and will not attain regular status. Applicant must successfully pass a background check prior to appointment.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Pre-Employment Process: Applicants must successfully pass a background check, which includes fingerprints and a medical exam.
