Japanese aerospace trading company seeks a Japanese Bilingual Logistics Coordinator.

Employment Type : Direct Hire Non-exempt

Salary Range : $50K-$55K Depends on your experience (Hourly equivalent based on 3540-hour workweek)

Working Hours : 8 : 00 AM 4 : 00 PM or 9 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (1-hour paid lunch break)

Work Arrangement : Hybrid schedule available. At present employees work remotely about 1.5 days per week (every other Monday and every Friday). This schedule is subject to change and not guaranteed.

Job Summary

Coordination of communication between our overseas office and local suppliers.

Responsibilities

Track and monitor shipment status to ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate with customs brokers and ensure compliance with import / export regulations.

Maintain accurate records of shipping documents invoices and purchase orders.

Support warehouse operations by providing shipping schedules and resolving discrepancies.

Assist in resolving logistics issues such as delays damages or mis-shipments.

Required Qualifications

Prior experience in logistics supply chain or freight forwarding preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and manage priorities under tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills with both domestic and international stakeholders.

Bilingual in English and Japanese (Japanese- spoken and written at business level)

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Skills & Competencies

Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle unexpected challenges.

Familiarity with ERP or logistics management systems (SAP Oracle etc.) is a plus.

Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.
