Security Lead Officer
The Lead Security Officer helps oversee the training and efficiency of the 24-hour security officer staff. This position is responsible for the physical security of Oakland Ice Center as well as the parking areas.
The Lead will work with Oakland Ice and the SSE Security Management teams in scheduling the 24-hour security staff, training the staff, enforcement of policies and procedures, conducting post inspections, and guard against unauthorized entry and activities. The Lead Security Officer monitors CCTV, alarms, conducts and monitors audits and helps patrol SSE property and any parking lots under our control through foot patrols.
Additional responsibility is to audit log entries and other written reports / memos as needed.
Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including overnight, mornings, and afternoons, including weekends and holidays. Part Time 16-24 hours per week. Hours will be swing shift 12 : 00p-8 : 00p / weekends and holidays only.

Minimum qualifications include :

Service in military occupational specialty related to law enforcement, security, or any support role in a combat zoneGraduate of a certified public safety academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter fieldBachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studiesA minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branchAssociate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military serviceThis position is not eligible for U.S. work authorization sponsorship.
