In-Home Euthanasia Veterinarian

• Duties
• Travel to scheduled appointments for clients seeking in-home euthanasia services for their pets.
• Discuss the details of the procedure with pet owners so they know what is to take place every step of the way.
• Administer initial sedative injection to calm nervous patients.
• After initial sedative injection has taken effect, place an IV catheter to allow for administration of euthanasia drugs.
• Assist with removal of pet for aftercare services.
• Inform referring veterinarian of the euthanasia.
• Send sympathy cards to clients.

Pay : $96,000.00 - $144,000.00 per year
