Clinical Partner (Medical Assistant)

Responsibilities include assisting Harmony Cares Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Clinical Teams in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management in a residential setting. Essential duties include supporting the mission, vision, and core values, coordinating daily travel itinerary, preparing patients for examination and treatment, securing patient consent forms, coordinating patient care, performing phlebotomy, labeling and storing specimens, assisting in identifying and closure of quality gaps, and maintaining compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPPAA guidelines.
In this role, you may work with Primary Care Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Teams, patients, and patients' families.
Required knowledge, skills, and experience include a high school graduate or GED equivalent, graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, EMT, related medical education / training program or 1 year of experience serving as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist, current CPR certification, knowledge of medical terminology, basic computer literacy, strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, and a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Preferred knowledge, skills, and experience include Certified Medical Assistant, six months of experience in patient care, preferably geriatric care, strong Phlebotomy skills, and desire and ability to obtain MA certification with 180 days of hire.
Conditions of this role to be aware of include full range body motion, ability to drive up to 150 miles daily in urban and / or rural setting, ability to lift / carry items weighing up to 50 lb, ability to read and understand road maps, and sit or stand for long periods of time.
