HR Specialist

Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to oversee HR functions across multiple primary care clinics in North Atlanta. This full-time role involves managing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, benefits, training, and policy development for a rapidly growing organization with over 150 employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare HR, excel in a multi-location environment, and possess a strategic approach to HR leadership to enhance employee experience and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Management, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare and multi-site organizations
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance standards
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and employee relations skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
- Ability to work onsite in Johns Creek and travel to clinics when necessary
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP / SCP) is preferred
Responsibilities
Lead and develop all HR functions across clinics, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relationsDevelop and enforce HR policies, SOPs, and best practices organization-wideSupport clinic managers in hiring processes and create structured onboarding experiencesServe as a confidential resource for employees and managers, handling investigations and coachingEnsure compliance with federal and state employment laws and maintain accurate employee recordsManage benefits enrollment, payroll support, and leave programsRecommend and implement training and development initiatives for staff and leadershipParticipate in strategic workforce planning and HR leadership activitiesBenefits
