Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience and an active IL license for a home-based primary care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a home-based primary care setting providing home health OT services
  • Day shifts from 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends
  • Each shift is 8 hours, totaling 5 shifts per week
  • No on-call required
  • Mileage between visits is paid
  • Provide comprehensive OT services to patients in their homes
  • Rotating weekend coverage may be required
  • Local candidates within a 50 mile radius are not eligible

    • Requirements

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in Illinois required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Previous home health experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
