A company is looking for a Mortgage Underwriter to analyze and evaluate residential loan applications.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate residential loan applications in accordance with industry standards
Gather, analyze, and interpret credit information to maximize credit and minimize risk
Approve or deny loans within limits and make credit structure and loan eligibility decisions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of mortgage underwriting experience
Thorough understanding of factors affecting real estate values and credit analysis
Experience with various loan types including Agency, HFA, Bond, Portfolio, and Jumbo
