Compensation Overview
The salary range for this role reflects a nationwide market and is influenced by factors including the complexity and location of the position, as well as the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Additionally, our employees are eligible for performance-based cash incentives as part of our compensation package.

$60,800.00 - $100,300.00

What Is the Opportunity?
This role supports attorneys by executing various paralegal and administrative tasks vital for legal cases. You'll engage in the preparation and management of files for standard legal matters, including preliminary research, document drafting, and thorough document summarization.
What Will You Do?
Prepare legal documents such as discovery responses, affidavits, and other standard materials for attorney review.
Draft initial pleadings and legal filings.
Develop exhibits and demonstrative evidence.
Facilitate communication between parties involved in litigation.
Obtain records through subpoenas.
Conduct initial legal research as required.
Assist attorneys during trial as needed.
Maintain accurate records of billable time per company policies.
Review incoming correspondence to assess urgency and assist attorneys in drafting replies.
Coordinate schedules with experts and witnesses, including documentation collection and deposition scheduling.
Manage calendars for attorneys, ensuring all legal deadlines are met.
Input and update data in the case management system to ensure accuracy.
Support team projects as assigned.
Perform additional duties as needed.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
A Bachelor's Degree.
Experience as a paralegal or in litigation / claims.
Understanding of insurance-related matters.
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF software.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with court personnel, attorneys, clients, and outside vendors.
Excellent grammar and writing abilities.
Basic knowledge of law office practices and local court procedures.
Ability to effectively use a case management system and other technical tools.
A knack for prioritizing tasks based on urgency.
Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
Fundamental research and analytical skills.
Paralegal Certification from an ABA-Certified program is a plus.
What is a Must Have?
A High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of paralegal experience or relevant work experience; or a Bachelor’s degree; or an ABA-Certified Paralegal Certification.
