Product Testing Engineer I

Job Summary

This position will conduct R&D Testing for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Sustaining projects, develop test plans / procedures / processes, investigate field issues, and provide high level documentation and analysis. This individual will work closely with Test Technicians, Engineering Teams, and other Cross-Functional groups to ensure successful qualification of Pfister products.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on testing for plumbing consumer products.
• Design and construct testing equipment used to analyze life-of-product, reliability and functionality.
• Develop testing processes and procedures used to qualify products at both design and manufacturing stages of life.
• Support field issue investigation, evaluate product, and provide documentation of findings.
• Ensure accurate documentation, record and archive measurement data pertaining to product parameters and process control performance.
• Participate in the creation of product validation test plans and product compliance certification.
• Manage preventative maintenance (PM) and equipment calibration schedules.

Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

Pay Range : $69,683 to $109,502.

This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location. ASSA ABLOY conducts regular review of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
