KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. KBR is seeking an Associate Specialist to join the National Security Solutions (NSS) Chantilly team. Our Security professionals work with and communicate with a wide range of people including vendors, customers, executives, and staff. The Associate Specialist must have the ability to communicate with internal and external contacts, both orally and in writing, to seek or convey information and coordinate arrangements.

The Associate Specialist is a salaried position that reports to the Senior Security Manager. Regular M-F standard business hours with some flexibility apply but also with some requirement from time-to-time to surge on the front or back end of a standard business day based on customer or company requirements.

Key responsibilities include :

• Supporting all Virginia DoD collateral, sensitive compartmented information (SCI) and DoD SAP security programs to include physical, personnel, program, document control, classification management, education / awareness, automated information systems certification & accreditation processes and security management policies and procedures.
• Supporting and assisting in the maintenance of Chantilly personnel clearance / access databases, and document control databases.
• Interfacing with Corporate Security, IT, Operations and Program Operations staff.
