🏥 West Penn Hospital | Cutting-Edge MICU | $120–$130 / hr | Nights Only

Step into a high-impact leadership role overnight in a newly launched MICU critical care service line ! Join West Penn Hospital as a Critical Care NP or PA and be the primary overnight provider , supported by Tele-ICU and an in-house supervising physician.

💰 Pay Information

$120–$130 per hour

🏥 Position Overview

Manage critically ill MICU patients overnight

Handle new admissions and respond to codes

Perform and manage procedures including :

🩸 Arterial lines

🩺 Central lines

💧 Dialysis catheters

Collaborate with St. Vincent Tele-ICU network

Work alongside an in-house supervising physician

🕒 Schedule & Shift Structure

Night Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Flexible block scheduling based on provider availability

No additional on-call responsibilities

Solo APP coverage per night

Target start : February 2026 – June 2026

2.0 FTE (coverage every night of the month)

👩‍⚕️ Team Model

Solo APP overnight

Tele-ICU physician support

On-site supervising physician available

✅ Requirements

Board-Certified NP (Acute Care required) or PA

Recent ICU procedural experience

Active Pennsylvania license

ACLS & BLS certifications

PA Child Abuse clearance (fingerprints required)

Ability to complete privileging (3–4 months)

Minimum commitment of 8 shifts / month (ideal 12 / month)

Credentialing timeline : 60+ days
