Advanced Systems Design is seeking a SQL Application Developer for our client located in Montgomery, AL.
This position is onsite in Montgomery, AL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1.
Job Overview :
- Employees in this class are responsible for new development and maintenance of the existing application for Eligibility & Enrollment (CARES).
- Responsible for systems analysis, design and development.
- Responsible for performing moderately to highly complex programming and systems analysis work on projects with integrated systems that impact multiple applications to support end-user needs.
- Requires full proficiency in Microsoft SQL server TSQL to create Stored Procedures. SSIS ETL packages, Unit tests, Documentation of developed code.
- Status updates as requested by the Project Manager and Development Manager.
Required Qualifications :
5 years of experience in software development experience using SQL Server5 years of experience in database development5 years of experience in ETL development5 years of experience in tools used for software development (e.g., Visual Studio, Chrome Developer Tools, SSRS)Experience using TFS / Azure Devops as Source ControlExperience with Agile Scrum project development methodology and able to apply methodology in a practical manner.Requires full proficiency in T-SQL as identified by the development manager DeliverablesDevelop new SSIS / SSRS packages to meet business needsCreate Stored ProceduresSSIS ETL PackagesUnit testsDocumentation of developed codeStatus updates as requested by the Project Manager and Development ManagerCreate moderate to advance T – SQL Stored Procedures and Triggers.Ability to write moderate and advance SQL commands.Ability to test and troubleshoot database procedures and ETL Packages.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsData analysis, task and workflow analysisSQL Servers latest versionHands-on with all aspects of the System Development Life CycleAssisting with interviews when requiredPreferred Qualifications :
