Data Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Analyst to support a global SAP transformation initiative. This role will be part of the Unify Program’s Data Tower, focusing on data migration deliverables across multiple functional areas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ERP data migration, data cleansing, and mapping using industry-standard tools.

Key Responsibilities of the Data Analyst:

• Support data migration activities across functional areas including GSC, MM, PM, PP, LE, eWM, QM, Finance/Procurement, and Commercial
• Collaborate with business data owners, SMEs, and functional teams to understand source data and “To Be” requirements
• Capture and document migration requirements in Data Object Structure (DOS) and Data Definition and Migration (DDAM) formats
• Lead and support data mapping workshops, defining transformation rules and source-to-target mappings
• Coordinate defect resolution and validation efforts during migration cycles
• Ensure alignment with MDG and interface architecture in collaboration with technical teams

Qualifications of the Data Analyst:

• 3+ years of experience in data cleansing and data migration for ERP implementations
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred, but not required)
• Proficiency with data tools such as Syniti, SAP Data Services (DS), or Informatica
• Strong understanding of data mapping and transformation logic in ERP contexts
• Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across business and IT teams
• Experience supporting large-scale ERP transformation programs

Compensation and Benefits:

• Rate: $-/hr
• Location: Hybrid (Greensboro, NC preferred)
