Auto Mechanic : Parttime

This role, the Shop / Fleet Mechanic, will oversee the performance and maintenance of the fleet vehicles and production machinery.

Now this has different meaning than what you might be thinking if you're coming from a "traditional" garage; here you might be doing maintenance and repairs on trucks and cars.

But, you may also be working on aerial lifts, forklifts, mini- excavators and other manufacturing equipment.

No day is ever the same!  What will you do in your job?  Perform repair work on vehicles :

• breakdowns and malfunctions  Follow flow procedures including documenting correct mileage / hours, saving and tagging all warranty and core parts, documenting all repairs on work order using complaint, cause, and correction format Follow parts ordering / billing procedures Perform preventive maintenance on off-road equipment such as lubrications, adjustments, and safety inspections What do you need to do this job?  High school diploma required  Vocational or college related coursework -OR- experience equivalent required  Current Driver's License  Must be mechanically inclined (of course!)  Work independently  Communicate well  Be highly organized  Skilled in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems This position is located IN Plymouth, WI- remote work is not possible.  Applicants must be able to work in the US as sponsorship is not an option .  Physical Requirements : Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Must be able to visually inspect machines.
