Title Clerk – Chevy Chase Acura Location : Bethesda, MD Job Type : Full-Time About Us Chevy Chase Acura is a fast-paced, customer-focused dealership committed to excellence in every department. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated Title Clerk to join our administrative and accounting team. This individual will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vehicle titles, registrations, and DMV documentation. Position Summary The Title Clerk is responsible for preparing, processing, and submitting all new and used vehicle title and registration documents to the appropriate state agencies. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment. The Title Clerk will also assist with administrative tasks to support the accounting office. Key Responsibilities

• Process all retail, lease, wholesale, and dealer trade title applications.
• Prepare and verify documentation for new and used vehicle sales, including COs, titles, POAs, odometer statements, and lien documents.
• Submit paperwork through the Maryland ERT system and coordinate with out-of-state DMV agencies as needed.
• Track and follow up on all title corrections, missing documents, and rejected transactions.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all titles, registrations, and funding documents.
• Communicate with sales, finance, service, and tag & title agencies to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain strict compliance with state and federal title regulations.
• Assist the accounting office with administrative tasks, filing, and reporting. Qualifications
• Previous dealership title clerk experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Maryland MVA and ERT systems; experience with out-of-state title processing a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Benefits
