Position Overview:
As our VP of Sales, Contingent Workforce Solutions, you will be responsible for directly prospecting high-value accounts, closing complex deals, building an individual pipeline, and identifying new business opportunities. At the same time, as a “player/coach,” you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and leading a team of Sales professionals, ensuring they achieve sales targets and drive business objectives. In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and work closely with the President of AtriumWORKS in support of Atrium’s Workforce Solutions division.
Responsibilities of the VP of Sales, Contingent Workforce Solutions:
- Directly sell to top-tier accounts, targeting high-value prospects, new business, and strategic opportunities.
- Lead the sales cycle from prospecting through to closing, maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunities and negotiating large contracts.
- Identify new revenue streams, upsell, and cross-sell to existing clients to expand relationships and increase sales.
- Work directly with the Chief Revenue Officer and President of AtriumWORKS to implement high-level sales strategies to drive organizational revenue, focusing on both new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align individual and team sales efforts with the company’s overall business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with CRO to establish and communicate clear sales goals for the team, ensuring alignment and accountability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, ensuring high performance, goal attainment, and continuous growth.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members to maximize their success in meeting targets and closing deals.
- Conduct performance reviews, providing actionable feedback, training, and career development opportunities.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
- Analyze sales performance metrics, tracking team and individual contributions to ensure targets are met.
- Report regularly to senior leadership on sales pipeline, key accounts, challenges, and market insights.
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Service teams to develop solutions, support client needs, and ensure successful sales and implementations.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network, stay informed on trends, and promote the company’s products/services.
Required Experience/Skills for the VP of Sales, Contingent Workforce Solutions:
- Sales Expertise: Extensive experience in strategic account management, B2B sales, Workforce Solutions, and complex deal negotiations.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a sales team, driving performance and exceeding sales targets.
- Relationship Management: Strong skills in building and maintaining relationships with high-value prospects, ensuring satisfaction and long-term business growth.
- Communication: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage executives and key decision-makers.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, able to forecast sales trends and adjust strategies as needed.
- Technology Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software (, HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales analytics tools to track performance and improve sales processes.
- Results-Oriented: A self-starter with a results-driven mindset, able to meet and exceed both personal and team sales targets.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
