Security Officer - Retail Patrol Specialist

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $21.78 / Hour

Job Schedule :

  • Tue 10 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM
  • Wed 10 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM
  • Fri 10 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the retail environment as directed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
