Software Engineer

Location : Onsite in Huntsville, AL

Clearance : Active DoD Secret required

Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain mission-critical software systems in a secure Linux-based environment. This role involves hands-on development, system integration, and collaboration with test and systems teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software in Java and C++

Support system integration and sustainment activities

Work in Linux-based environments

Collaborate with test engineers to support verification efforts

Troubleshoot and resolve software defects

Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (or equivalent experience)

2+ years of software development experience

Proficiency in : Java

C++

Python

Git

Linux

Active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

JavaFX or GUI development experience

Experience with C++11 or newer standards

Familiarity with REST or gRPC services

Database experience (MySQL or similar)

Security+ certification

Active Top Secret clearance
