Responsibilities

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Schedule: Monday–FridayNo Holidays • No CallSpecialty: Orthopedics (Total Joints Focus)Location: Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center – Tigard, OR

We are actively hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team at Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center. This is a weekday‑only, no‑call, no‑holiday position.

This role supports surgeons in orthopedic cases with an emphasis on total joint procedures. Orthopedic experience is highly recommended.

As a CST, you will:

• Function as the scrub technologist during operative and other invasive procedures.

• Clean, prepare, and organize surgical instruments for processing and transport to the decontamination area.

• Assist with post‑procedure cleaning and reset of the operating or procedure room to prepare for the next patient.

• Maintain high standards for sterile technique, safety, and team communication.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure exceptional patient care and efficient surgical workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program

• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred, especially in an operating room or surgical services environment

• Current Surgical Technologist certification (CST) preferred

• BLS certification required:

• Must have current BLS at time of hire or

• BLS within 90 days of employment.
