Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering speech and language therapy services to students, helping them enhance their communication skills and overcome disorders.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.Develop tailored therapy plans and goals based on assessment findings and student needs.Provide direct therapy services, addressing articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support communication goals.Utilize evidence-based techniques and activities to enhance therapy sessions.Monitor and adjust therapy plans based on student progress for optimal outcomes.Document therapy sessions and progress accurately and timely.Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights on students' speech and language requirements.Qualifications :
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Experience in delivering speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric context.Familiarity with assessment tools and treatment techniques for pediatric speech-language pathology.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Experience in teletherapy or online counseling is a plus.Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and assistive technology is preferred.Benefits :

Physical Requirements (Working in a School Setting) :
This role involves standing, walking, and moving around the school facility regularly. Effective communication with students, staff, and parents is essential. Candidates should be able to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds and may need to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Physical stamina to engage with students throughout the school day is necessary.
