Job Summary and Qualifications
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and managing all functions within the unit during their shift. Working in collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs and evaluates nursing care based on established procedures while serving as a resource for staff, ensuring a commitment to our vision and mission for outstanding patient experiences and outcomes.
What you will do in this role:
- Facilitate admission and discharge processes to optimize patient throughput and care quality.
- Engage in continuous assessment to improve the quality of patient care services alongside the management team.
- Collaborate with experts and managers to foster a team environment that enhances service and outcomes.
- Uphold a patient-first philosophy and address service recoveries as needed.
- Drive staff engagement initiatives through operational nursing strategies and rounding programs.
- Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff, and support conflict resolution and compliance with personnel policies.
- Manage staff scheduling according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
- Oversee inventory control and manage supplies and equipment efficiently.
What qualifications you will need:
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Active RN license in your practicing state or a compact license.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
