Requirements
– Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
– 14+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent technical education and experience
– Strong analytical, systems thinking, and problem-solving abilities
– Practical experience with requirements decomposition, tracing, and configuration management
– Experience in crafting and executing test plans and system-level integration verification
– Familiarity with standard engineering tools such as DOORS, MBSE, test management, and collaboration platforms like Jira or Git
– Proficient in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Matlab) for test automation and data analysis
– Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
Responsibilities
Review, develop, document, and maintain system requirements and their traceability throughout the lifecycle
Define strategies, plans, procedures, and acceptance criteria for testing at component, integration, and system levels
Design and implement verification and validation activities, including functional and performance assessments
Analyze test outcomes, conduct root cause analyses, and propose corrective measures
Collaborate across engineering disciplines with developers and test engineers to ensure holistic functionality and mission success
Lead the integration of hardware, software, and mission systems in secure defense environments
Employ modern DevSecOps practices like CI / CD pipelines and automated testing to enhance integration and testing
Establish, configure, and sustain secure test environments using cloud-native and virtual resources
Utilize model-based systems engineering and requirements management tools for design support and traceability
Participate in risk management, reporting technical readiness and critical path impacts
Drive ongoing improvement of integration and testing processes through automation and lessons learned
Document integration results and findings for design reviews and formal customer deliverables
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects
