Position: Business Valuation Manager
Location: Providence, RI (2-3 days a week in office)
Requirements: 5+ years exp. (CPA, CVA, ABV, CFF preferred)
Salary: $120,000-$160,000 a year

We are a midsize firm of about 60 employees headquartered in Providence, RI. We service the Northeast Region offering: Tax, Accounting, Audit, Business Consulting, and Wealth Management services. We are a growing firm that prides itself in standing strong in a time where many firms are merging and selling to the top 25 firms. We offer a flexible schedule with summer hours including half days for the first part of summer and full Fridays off for the second half of summer. Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Valuation Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive business valuations, analyzing financial data, and providing insights that assist in mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions. This role requires a deep understanding of valuation methods and the ability to interpret financial information to support advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct business valuations for various purposes including mergers, acquisitions, and litigation support.
• Analyze financial statements and perform detailed financial modeling to assess company value.
• Utilize various valuation methods including Discounted Cash Flow and Market Research techniques.
• Prepare clear and concise valuation reports that outline findings and recommendations.
• Conduct industry analysis to understand market trends and their impact on valuation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights for valuations.
• Support clients through the acquisition process by providing valuation insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years of Valuation exp.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business valuation or a similar analytical role.
• Strong understanding of valuation methods and financial modeling principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
• Excellent report writing and data interpretation skills.
• Familiarity with compliance standards and risk assessment practices.

Base Salary: $120,000-$160,000
